Yes, but you won in the end!

I love the posts on this one: mineral deposits, tree stumps, that
perfect picture . . .

With me, it was driving a hollow support into the ground. You know how
you can feel if something is moving as you drive it in? Well, this
felt like it had hit something hard and wasn't moving. My 8-pound
sledge was stinging my hands with each hit, but I had only 6" farther
to go.

I made it.

Six months later, I had my first neck operation.

Subject: [oldtools] Casual Sunday Project

Today I got my ass kicked right and proper.

I was trying to do something that was damn set against it.
It was just, just wrong. Didn't fit, couldn't ft,
 Was never going to work.

 Like hell you sez

Round after round I fought. Beat so bad I had to take breaks. A cold
 shower one time.
 Then go back in.

Something tore loose in one of my favorite knees about 2/3 of the way
though, but screw it, I hopped and sat on things and fought.

 I took the win.
 It gave up.
But it was in the 12th round.
and I pretty much got as good as I gave.

You can't imagine how sore I am. Not only can I barely walk,
I hurt in so many places I can't keep them all satisfied at once.
My foot is barking as I type, drugs or no drugs.

 ever happen to you?
 yours scott
