It seems that a love for working with the hands often skips
generations.  My Father's father was a country doctor in Missouri 90
years ago and enjoyed woodworking.  My Father has never had any
interest in working with his hands.  I have always enjoyed working
with my hands, but I don't think my sons have the same interest at
all.

So, if your kids don't embrace your passion, save it for the following
generation.
