Joe, Nice Bio, I'd heard that the Under Porch had gotten some 
renovations, you guys must be kind of pale though.

Couple of questions if you don't mind, I was wondering if your  Barnes 
Scroll saw has some sort of blower mechanism to clear the sawdust from 
the cut. As a recent owner of a #2 Velocipede (still grinning, very 
happy galoot) I'd love to have some other method than hyperventilating 
myself while pedaling to clear the cut line.

and the boiling box,(gorgeous by the way)  what kind of joint did you 
use at the ends?   After 3 tries and folding the same type of flashing 
up and soldering it, I'm thinking of JB Weld to stop the slight but 
insistant drip.

Yes, I do tend to go a bit overboard in my projects.  As another 
example, I have
never made Shaker boxes, nor do I intend to, but I couldnt resist 
getting some
copper flashing and making a boiling box

Finally, for those of you on the upper level of the Porch, you would be 
amazed
at the improvements we have made down below.  Its actually quite 
comfortable
down here now.  The only major problem remaining is that rampaging 
termite
infestation.  Just be careful where you step.
