Thanks for the bio, Duck. It lived up to your posting about determining
age by how a tool made in Germany is labelled. And might have explained
some of your expertise (if we can trust that you really spent 30 years
teaching at University in Deutschland). I just love the image of sending
the errant spider to bug heaven using a self-made brass hammer. So much
more civilized than using your thumb, for example.

Best lay off the cider though, I think someone's laced it with
something ;-)
