125039 "Bryan Carbonnell" <carbonnb@s...> 2003‑12‑01 Updated Bio
Well, since everyone else is posting an updated bio, I figure I may
as well post mine :-)

I live in Aurora, Ontario, Canada, which is just north of Toronto
(about a 2 hour drive northish from Buffalo, NY), with my wife and 2
SWMBO-in-Trainings. For my day job I am an Admin Assistant with the
Canadian Broadcasting Corp.

I have been hanging around the porch since, oh '96 or so, when I was
in my 20's :-), now I'm in my mid 30's :(

One of the first thread I remember was a discussion of saw spiders.
This will tell you how nieve and unknowledgeable I was back then. The
first weekend after I joined the porch I went to a local flea market
and pickup what I thought was a difficult to find saw spider. I then
dutifully reported my wonderful gloat to the porch. I was sooo proud,
until it was pointed out that my spider was a saw set :( Oh well, it
has serverd me well for a good many years. And for $7 CAD, who can
complain :-))

I've been quiet in the last few years, but I remember the days of the
MofAs posts, Lamantian posts, Gunterman and clamp vaulting, Natalie,
and other memorable posts.

I originally found the porch in it's early days after stumbling on a
post over in wreck.wood. I dropped wreck.wood like a hot potato after
realising the Galoots here are my kind of folks.

When I originally joind the list I was child free. Heck, when I
joined the list, the bios weren't even kept anywhere!!

If you search for my last name in the bios and you'll get the bio of
S-IT #1

I haven't done much wood-dorking recently. I just don't have the
time, but I have never left the porch for more that a week at time
and never could get resubbed fast enough.

The box said 'Requires Windows 95, NT, or better', so I installed
Linux.
