It’s been done. I believe that in “The Village Carpenter” by Walter Rose, he
discusses stacking the boards and an A frame shape to dry vertically. Also in
The Woodwright’s Shop Roy visits the Wooden Boat School in Maine in season 15
episode 6. I think I saw that they stack their green lumber in that way too. I
need to watch it again.
