Hey GGs LOML got another post card from MJD today. Not sure how she got on the mailing list, but it doesn't really matter. While fooling with the auction list on line, I found a couple interesting items. I'm wondering if anyone going to the auction in Nashua this weekend would be willing to inspect a couple things for me. Off line replies, please. Bill W. I saw a cabinetmaker chest at the spring MWTCA meet in Adamstown PA that will be featured there. It sat in the back of a panel truck. They used the lift to get folks up in there to take a look that didn't want to climb. I was simply lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time. About a half dozen saws from it will be auctioned separately but the chest and balance of tools are being auctioned as a unit. There was no etch on the panel saws. They were simply marked as HENRY DISSTON. I doubt that a book and a video will be made of it but I sure would like to see the rest of the contents. Paul Drake |
