126459 "William West" <pghpensfan@a...> 2003‑12‑25 Finally my Bio..
After receiving my official Galoot hat from Keith Rucker,(Thanks Keith!)
I feel compelled to post my Bio finally, before I begin to advertise my
galoothood to the world by wearing the hat daily.

My name is William West, humble maker of self-designed (usually modeled
after something Stickley) furniture and (more often)tool hunter in
training. I do what I suspect many others on this list do, which is
persue tools "In the wild" (My haunts being Western PA and Eastern
Ohio), sell them on that auction site we all love to hate, and use the
funds gained to add to my own coll..., I mean, group of tools I use.

I currently reside in a little town called Glenshaw, which is just North
of Pittsburgh, with my SWMBO of 9 years, and 2 GIT's, a boy and a girl.
Oh yeah, and one garage/shop/tool room stacked with rust. Winter is a
little slow in the rust hunting department in these parts, so I now make
do with the few estate sales I see in the paper and the ritual flea
market on Sundays.

I ran accross this list about a year ago while I was researching some
planes I had for sale and have been hooked ever since. I find the brand
of humor refreshing and familiar, and I am impressed with the generosity
of the members, especially in the sharing of knowledge department.

I am anxiously awaiting the crisp, clear early spring mornings here in
"The rust belt", and wearing myself out on a day's tool hunt. As for
now, I think I will retire to the garage for some practice at scraping
with my recently found Stanley #112. Looking forward to Sandy's next
Brimfield report!

Is it possible to "Electrozap" the spittoons?

- Wm. West
